Routine Maintenance
- Make sure the power supply is switched off and unplugged.
- It is highly recommended to clean the filter basket after each cleaning cycle.
- Do not let the filter basket dry out before cleaning.
Cleaning after use - removing and cleaning the filter basket
- Open the filter cover.
- The handle will lift up independently. Lift up the basket.
- Open the latch to release the bottom lid.
- The debris can then be removed.
- Clean the filter basket with a hose.
Periodic cleaning – recommended at least once a month
In addition to cleaning after use you should clean the filters periodically.
It is recommended to do this at least once a month.
When you perform periodic cleaning, you should first dismantle the 4 ultra-fine filter panels of the outer basket, as per the following steps.
- Hold down the handle and remove the inner net basket.
- Dismantle the panels using your thumbs to press on panel 1.
- Continue to dismantle panels 2, 3, 4 in the same manner.
- Clean the filter panels with a hose.
- Reassemble the filter panels in the order 4 —> 3 —> 2 —> 1.
- Insert the clean filter basket and close the filter cover.
Do not force the filters into place.
Periodic cleaning – recommended at least once a month
Dismantle the 2 ultra-fine filter panels of the basket, according to the following steps:
- Dismantle the 2 panels using your thumbs
- Clean the filter panels with a hose.
- Assemble the filter panels.
- Insert the clean filter basket and close the filter cover.
Clean the Impeller
If there is debris trapped in the impeller it should also be cleaned as follows.
CAUTION - Unplug the power supply before any servicing activity.
- Using a short screwdriver open the 2 screws.
- Pull the impeller cover backwards to release it. Clean the debris trapped around the impeller. Assemble the impeller cover.
